Event Terms: Radion Consulting
Event Terms
Last updated 2026-07-31.
1. Party identification
Events are organised by Radion Consulting (KvK 91299144, VAT NL004881246B62), registered at Europalaan 22 unit 8503, 3526KS Utrecht, the Netherlands. Contact for event matters: info@radion.consulting.
2. Ticket as named admission right
A ticket grants the named buyer admission to the specific event on the specific date stated at checkout. Tickets are personal. Transfer is permitted up to 48 hours before the event start time by emailing info@radion.consulting with the new attendee's name and email. After 48 hours, transfer is not guaranteed.
3. Price and VAT
All ticket prices are displayed inclusive of 21 percent NL VAT (Article 38 Wet OB, Prijzenwet). Business buyers established in another EU member state may apply reverse charge at checkout by providing a valid VAT identification number; Stripe Tax validates the number and applies the reverse-charge rule under Article 12 lid 2 Wet OB. The invoice will then carry the notation "btw verlegd".
4. No right of withdrawal (Art. 6:230p sub e BW)
No right of withdrawal. Under Article 6:230p sub e Dutch Civil Code, this is a leisure service for a specific date; the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. By completing checkout, the buyer confirms acceptance of this exclusion.
5. Refunds and cancellation by the buyer
Because withdrawal is excluded under clause 4, there is no statutory right to a refund post-purchase. As a goodwill arrangement, named-ticket transfer is offered up to 48 hours before the event under clause 2; no cash refund is provided. Tickets remain valid only for the original event date.
6. Cancellation or postponement by Radion Consulting
If Radion Consulting cancels the event for reasons within its control, ticket holders receive a full refund of the ticket price.
If the event cannot proceed due to force majeure (Article 6:75 BW: an external, unforeseeable event such as a natural disaster, public-health order, venue destruction, or other circumstance reasonably beyond Radion Consulting's control), Radion Consulting will offer buyers either (a) attendance at the rescheduled event with the same ticket, or (b) a refund of the ticket price. Force majeure does not by itself permit Radion Consulting to retain payment for a service that was not delivered.
If the event is postponed, the original ticket remains valid for the new date. Buyers who cannot attend the new date may request a refund within 14 days of the postponement notice and receive a full refund of the ticket price.
7. Seats, waitlist, and contract formation
Seats are allocated first-paid-first-seated. Oversubscription places the buyer on the waitlist; no contract is formed until payment is confirmed (Article 6:217 BW offer and acceptance). Reservations held while the buyer is in the checkout flow expire after 30 minutes if payment does not complete.
8. Recording, photography, and image consent
Photography and video are captured at the event to produce an after-movie and post-event marketing content (social and promotional use). The full talk is not published as a webinar. General crowd photography and video may be taken for archive and promotional use under the legitimate-interest basis of Article 6(1)(f) AVG. Identifiable portrait or close-up photography and video of attendees is taken only with the attendee's explicit, prior, opt-in consent (Article 6(1)(a) AVG); silence is not consent. Wristbands available at the entry desk serve as an operational signal to photographers and crew about wristband-wearers' preference not to be filmed or photographed in close-up; the wristband is not the legal basis for consent, only a visible indicator. Event media is retained for up to 24 months. Attendees can object or withdraw consent and request erasure at any time by contacting info@radion.consulting. The private dinner is off the record by default: no recording or photography of conversations.
9. Code of conduct
Harassment, intoxication, or discrimination of any kind is grounds for removal from the event without refund. Radion Consulting reserves the right to refuse admission or remove an attendee whose conduct disrupts the event for others.
10. No-show
Tickets are non-refundable for no-shows. The ticket is void after the event end time.
11. Dietary, accessibility, and accommodation requests
Dinner ticket holders receive a request form by email seven days before the event for dietary preferences, allergies, and accommodation needs. Vegetarian and vegan menus are available on request; allergies are handled individually. Late requests cannot always be accommodated.
12. Data protection (AVG)
Personal data collected for ticket purchases is processed by Radion Consulting as controller. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd; email communication runs through Brevo (AVG Article 28 processor agreement on file). The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) AVG (contract performance) for the ticket itself, Article 6(1)(c) + Article 52 AWR for fiscal retention (seven years), and Article 6(1)(a) for any post-event marketing (separate opt-in at checkout). Operational data is retained for twelve months after the event; invoice data for seven years. Full disclosure: Privacy Policy: Events section.
13. Liability
Radion Consulting's liability for any claim relating to event organisation, attendance, or services rendered at the event is limited to the ticket price paid by the claiming attendee. This limit does not apply to liability arising from intent or gross negligence and does not affect statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Event Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court at the Rechtbank Midden-Nederland (Utrecht), subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction protections under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 Article 18 (consumer is entitled to bring proceedings in the member state of their domicile).
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints regarding performance of these Event Terms must be submitted in writing, with reasons, to info@radion.consulting within 14 days of discovery. Radion Consulting will respond within 14 days. If the parties cannot resolve the matter, consumers may contact ACM ConsuWijzer (the Dutch consumer information authority) or, where applicable, a competent alternative dispute resolution body under Directive 2013/11/EU.
The European Online Dispute Resolution platform (Regulation (EU) 524/2013) stopped accepting new complaints on 20 March 2025 and was discontinued on 20 July 2025; the regulation was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 effective the same date. No EU-wide successor platform replaces it.
